2024 Dacia Bigster

The all-new Dacia Bigster is designed to conquer the C-SUV segment as part of the Renaulution strategic plan announced in January 2021. It embodies Dacia's values-Essential but Cool, Eco-Smart, Robust, and Outdoor-while meeting the needs of consumers looking for comfort, performance, and space without breaking the bank.

The Bigster boasts a robust design with front and rear skid plates dyed in the mass for enhanced durability. Its protective features, including running boards and lower bumper guards, are made from Starkle, a sustainable material developed by Dacia that incorporates recycled elements.

Customers can choose from 17- or 18-inch alloy wheels, with a top-spec Journey trim offering 19-inch wheels. For added flair, a black roof option creates a two-tone finish that highlights the vehicle's sleek lines. A new exclusive body color, Indigo Blue, adds elegance to its overall aesthetic.

Inside the Bigster, the focus is on space, ergonomics, and comfort. The high-mounted vertical dashboard enhances passenger room, while a digital instrument panel (available in 7 or 10 inches depending on trim) displays crucial driving information. A 10.1-inch central touchscreen, standard across all trims, provides access to multimedia functions, unified visually with the dashboard by a stylish green line.

The vehicle features three center console options-low, intermediate, and a high console for the first time on a Dacia-equipped with an armrest, built-in cooler compartment, induction charger, and ample storage. Seating upholstery varies by trim, emphasizing simplicity, durability, or enhanced comfort.

The Bigster introduces advanced powertrain options to enhance efficiency and performance:

HYBRID 155: This powertrain combines a 107 bhp four-cylinder petrol engine with two electric motors-a 50 bhp motor and a high-voltage starter/generator. A 1.4 kWh battery allows the Bigster to operate in all-electric mode up to 80% of the time in the city, providing a seamless driving experience with a reduction in fuel consumption and emissions.

TCe 140: For the first time in Dacia's lineup, this 1.2-liter 3-cylinder turbocharged engine features a 48V mild hybrid system that optimizes efficiency, delivering a fuel consumption rate of just 5.6 l/100 km and reducing CO2 emissions by approximately 10%.

TCe 130 4x4: Designed for off-road adventures, this version includes an all-wheel drive system paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox and a 48V mild hybrid system, offering enhanced performance on challenging terrains while maintaining efficiency.
