Hybrid Civic Coming Soon to a Dealership Near You |
Honda will be making hybrid variants of the Civic available locally soon.
Honda Cars Philippines confirmed this during the recent One Honda event that showcased the brand's move towards an electrified feature.
Highlighting the event was a preview of the New Honda Civic RS e:HEV which HCP president Rie Miyako said would be launched locally at the coming Philippine International Auto Show.
Whether other Civic variants besides the top end RS would get a hybrid powertrain remains unclear. What is sure however is that the hybrid Civic will retain its fun-to-drive character, according the HCP vice president Toshio Kuwahara.
Also during the event, Honda Philippines unveiled the All New EM1, the brand's first two-wheeled Battery Electric Vehicle, which is now available in Honda Flagship Shops in the National Capital Region, Cebu and Davao.
