Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) announces the availability of the 2020 All-New Corolla Altis, the longest-running nameplate of the brand. The all-new Corolla Altis now comes in hybrid electric variant, signalling a new era of hybrid in the local automotive scene.

The Corolla Altis, now on its 12^th generation, is developed under the Toyota New Global Architecture (TNGA) platform with improvements in the model's Agility, Stability, and Visibility. Accoding to Toyota, the driver can feel more in control as the lower center of gravity and improved suspension provide less roll and sharper vehicle response. Visibility is also better due to the reduced cowl height, thinner instrument panel, and repositioned mirrors. Sound insulation throughout the vehicle is also enhanced therefore providing a quieter cabin and ensuring a comfortable ride for both driver and passenger.

The all-new model is also equipped with the latest safety technology - the Toyota Safety Sense, the second variant in the TMP's lineup to feature such. Aside from the Pre-Collision System (PCS), Lane Departure Alert (LDA), and Automatic High Beam (AHB) features, several new are introduced in the All-New Corolla Altis 1.8V HV, such as the Lane Tracing Assist (LTA) and the Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (DRCC).

With the introduction of the All-New Corolla Altis 1.8V HV variant, TMP is making hybrid technology more accessible to the general motoring public in line woth the Toyota Environmental Challenge 2050. TMP believes that the new model would be the a great entry-point for more Filipinos wanting to shift to a more sustainable mode of transportation.

The 2020 Toyota Corolla Altis will be available at all Toyota dealerships nationwide from September 21.
