Isuzu QKR Light Truck Debuts as Company's Latest PUV Platform |
Isuzu Philippines Corporation participated in the recent Public Transport Modernization Expo, and displayed their latest PUV prototypes highlighting the Isuzu QKR as its main platform.
Isuzu showcased three new PUV prototypes in the latest transport expo organized by the Department of Transportation which served as the kick-off show for the modernization of public transportation under the theme "Modernong Sasakyan, Progresibong Bayan".
The Isuzu QKR platform runs on a 4JH1-TC diesel engine that produces 106 PS and 230 Nm of torque, and is also EURO IV compliant.
Leading the line-up is Isuzu's collaboration with Centro Manufacturing Corporation, the Isuzu-CENTRO Class II jeepney substitute which maintains side-facing fixed foam seats, 23-passenger standard type cabin, sliding windows, electric folding service door, and is fully air-conditioned.
Also included in the line-up are the Isuzu-ALMAZORA Class II prototype and the Isuzu-SANTAROSA Class III PUV prototype
According to Isuzu, their latest PUV display is a reflection of their initiative to work with different local body manufacturers to give the transport groups more designs to choose from.
