Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Extends Lend Out of Its Units |
Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) has extended its assistance to the local government of Santa Rosa City, Laguna by lending two L300 units for the transportation of the city's frontliners.
It can be recalled that MMPC has started lending out their units to the city when the enhanced community quarantine was first announced.
Santa Rosa City Mayor Arlene Arcillas was present to receive the L300 units which will carry 9 passengers only, plus the driver, to observe the social distancing measures imposed by the government.
Mayor Arcillas shared that aside from utilizing the units as a shuttle service for their frontliners, it is also used as a delivery vehicle for goods that are distributed to the residents of Santa Rosa who are home quarantined. She also expressed here gratitude and deep appreciation for MMPC.
MMPC President and CEO Mutsuhiro Oshikiri, for his part, said that the company is one with the Santa Rosa City LGU in the battle against the corona virus disease 2019 (CoViD-19). He also stressed that MMPC will remain a partner during these trying times.
