Lexus 10th Anniversary And UX Launch |
For some, 2019 is just another new year. But for Lexus, it certainly is a big one as it marks its 10th year anniversary in the Philippines. As usual, important milestones like this one need to be celebrated. For this week's Special Feature, we have the highlights of the celebration, plus a sneak peek of Lexus' newest model. Watch this.
Lexus Philippines gathered its friends, media guests, and top executives for a night of celebration held at its very own home in Bonifacio Global City.
In 2009, Lexus entered the local car industry with the launch of its initial line-up: the LS 460 flagship sedan, the ES 350 executive sedan, the GS 460 sports sedan, the IS 300 compact sedan, and the LX 570 full-size SUV.
In the span of a decade filled with nothing but service to its Filipino customers, Lexus has secured a spot in the local auto industry as the top luxury brand.
Lexus also finds it worth celebrating that for four consecutive years now, it has been able to maintain its place on the top in the commercial vehicle segment. This has positioned Lexus Philippines at 4th rank regionally in terms of new car sales. In terms of market share, Lexus Philippines is Top 2 among its Lexus regional affiliates.
As Lexus expands the lineup of products they bring out, it also expands their service operations to bring the Lexus experience outside the showroom as well. Lexus has set up five Accredited Service Centers across the Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao regions particularly in Laguna, Pampanga, La Union, Cebu, and Davao, done in partnership with the local Toyota dealers. This has been their way of catering to the increasing demand of consumers all over the country for the past ten years.
In line with its 10th anniversary, Lexus has officially brought in the Lexus UX to the Philippine market-the brand's first-ever introduction in the subcompact SUV segment.
The Lexus UX is a subcompact SUV crafted and inspired by the traditional Japanese concept of Engawa that blurs the boundary between a home's exterior and interior, designed to create a feeling of seamless continuity inside. This makes the UX a perfect car for those who are on-the-go and ready to explore.
