" The all-new Kia Rio, as we call it now, all-new. It still carries the tiger-nose grille, the signature design of our chief designer, Mr. Peter Schreyer. Right now, we are introducing it as a hatchback - 5-door, subcompact sedan. We have three models: we have the 1.4L SL M/T priced at P735,000; we have the mid-trim which is the 1.4L DX A/T priced at P845,000; and the top of the line, Rio 1.4L GL A/T priced at P955, 000. What makes it different now is what we are introducing into the market, is the hatchback design. It is now competing at the price levels of the four-door sedans, making the model a lot more competitive. We still have three-trim levels but now we call it SL, DX and GL. It still carries the features and the design leadership by Mr. Peter Schreyer as a 1.4L engine. We do not have a 1.2L engine anymore but all of the models, even the manual transmission, has a 1.4L engine. It has a little more power now, a little more spank. I welcome everybody and I'm inviting everybody to please go to the nearest Kia dealership in your area starting next week. We should have the test drive vehicles all ready at the Kia dealership showroom. Please come, visit and check it out for yourself."
