Berjaya Auto Philippines, the exclusive distributor of Mazda vehicles in the country, has recently unveiled the latest addition to the Japanese brand's new-generation vehicle lineup - the all-new Mazda CX-3 Freestyle Crossover Vehicle at Whitespace in Makati.

According to a Mazda release the CX-3 is the sixth model to showcase both the company's striking KODO: Soul of Motion design language and the highly efficient and innovative SKYACTIV suite of body, chassis, suspension, engine and drivetrain technologies.

It is powered by a 2-liter SKYACTIV Gasoline Direct-injection engine rated at 148ps and mated to a 6-speed SKYACTIV-DRIVE automatic transmission. With a torque output of 192Nm.

We roll out the CX-3 Crossover. It's been a long time coming. We`ve been wanting to launch this product since early this year, last year but it1s been so successful around the world. It`s been really, if you gotta get your hands on this unit so Mazda Japan has decided that "Okay, Philippines will now roll out the CX-3," and so we did an exclusive event for the press tonight just to show the car together with the JD power CSi number one. - Steven Tan
