The 10th generation Mercedes E-Class is finally available locally . .  . and is now rolling off the four exclusive dealerships in the country in good numbers if Felix Ang's Auto Nation Group, Inc. is to be believed . . . Auto Focus was there at its formal launch . . .

The invitation may have specified smart casual but it looked more like a black tie affair at the launch of the 10th generation Mercedes Benz E-Class . .

 

Most everyone; dressed to the nines . . . Perhaps only appropriate for the much-awaited launch of the E-Class . . . the executive sedan for presidents and captains of industry in the Philippines . . .

Felix Ang, president of Auto Nation Group, Inc., authorized distributor of Mercedes-Benz in the Philippines, is on-hand to welcome guests . . .which include Thomas Ossowksi, German ambassador to the Philippines and Wolfgang Huppenbauer, president and CEO of Daimler SouthEast Asia Pte. Ltd . . .

The short simple program to unveil the new Icon of executive sedan excellence ends with the roll-out of the 10th Generation E-Class . .

And the start of the rush to be among the first to check out the 10th Generation E-Class outside . . . and inside . . .

At the launch, Auto Nation Group executive expects the E-Class to regain top of class distinction.

Mercedes has decided to introduce the first variant of the E-Class powered by a two-liter engine rated at 184 horsepower and mated to a 9-speed 9Gtronic transmission  . .  . with three trim levels :  The Avantgarde . .  .the AMG line and the Exclusive . . .

The 10th generation E-Class incorporates the latest Pilot and Assist systems from Mercedes . . .

It also features what Mercedes calls the Widescreen cockpit with digital instrument cluster and large media display . . .

The launch provided guests to check for themselves various interpretations of modern luxury . . . using leather, wood trim, and color concepts  . .  . provided by various trim levels of the E-Class . . . from the sporty to the elegant . . .

Mercedes is optimistic that the E-Class will propel the German carmaker back to forefront of the premium luxury car market in the Philippines . .

There is an open invitation to the public to visit Mercedes showrooms in the country to check out the E-Class and other Mercedes offerings . .
