  • 1.1. The 2016-2017 AFPCA OFFICIAL ENTRY LIST (candidate makes/models) shall consist ONLY of the following:
    • 1.1.1. Automobile models locally manufactured or legally imported by recognized automobile manufacturers and distributors.
Note: Official member companies of the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines (CAMPI) and the Association of Vehicle Importers and Distributors (AVID) are automatically considered as recognized manufacturers/distributors. However, non-membership will not necessarily disqualify a particular manufacturer/distributor for so long as they are duly-recognized by the Philippine government as such.
    • 1.1.2. Automobile makes/models nominated and certified by manufacturers and distributors as their official concurrent models for year 2016.
    • 1.1.3. Concurrent automobile makes/models of which a specified minimum number of units have been or will be made available to the market on or before September 30, 2016.

Any such re-classification will be final and will require no formal justification on the part of STV.
  • 1.4. In view of the wide unit price disparities that prevail within certain model categories, the 2016-2017 AFPCA shall have separate STANDARD and LUXURY categories. Unit price shall be the sole and prime criteria to determine to which of these 2 classifications each model shall fall under.
